MY STORY
I began racing Karts at the age of 7. As a third-generation racer, it’s fair to say racing is most definitely in my blood. Following in the footsteps of my grandfather in NZ who was a successful driver, & my father who found success as part of the 3-time Supercar Championship winning team of Stone Brothers Racing.
We put a permanent hold on my Karting career at the age of 11 so I could focus on my education and my Dad could focus on his business, Swiftek Engineering.
I knew going through school that nothing ever got me as excited as racing did, the bug had me by the teeth.
To try to combat this, I decided to try my hand at Sim Racing. This went from 2018, all the way to when my racing started up again in 2022.
Through this, I met some of my good friends today, some of which also made the switch to real racing such as Max Geoghegan and Hugo Allan.
Through my time in Sim Racing, I was able to race against some great drivers and idols of mine such as Shane van Gisbergen, Chaz Mostert, Jack Doohan, Broc Feeney, Scott McLaughlin, and many more.
Life Has No Guarantees
In early 2020 my Mum was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. Being a 15-year-old kid, who spent his nights playing video games it didn't seem real. After she passed away in late 2020. My whole world had flipped upside down and inside out after just a few months.
I learned that life has no guarantees and I'm trying to live my life to the fullest to make her proud.

Norwell Motorplex
Leaving everything that happened in 2020 behind us, my Dad and I decided to book me in for some driver coaching at Norwell Motorplex. This place is heaven for a kid with a dream such as myself, they teach all the ins and outs of how to drive a race car and how the cars actually work. Much like it is at the top of Motorsports, they didn't sugarcoat anything, making sure I didn't pick up any bad habits.
After steadily improving my pace, I was encouraged to join the Hyundai Excel Category. So we did just that!

2022 Season
In July 2022 we purchased a mid-field running car in our budget & set about using the remainder of the season to focus on learning as much as possible without focusing so much on results to begin with. My first proper race was the yearly Excel Enduro where I partnered up with a friend from Sim Racing and real-life driver, Dalton Ellery! We were running in the top 10 in a 40+ car field before having car problems. Later in the season, we very quickly turned heads after finishing 2nd in the last race of 2022.

2023 Season
After a complete rebuild of the car in the lead-up to 2023, we have seen amazing success in 23', including a 2nd place finish at Bathurst, multiple race wins and podiums, and winning the EFS4x4 Aus Excel Series. We also competed in the Excel Cup Enduro with my good friend Cammy McLeod, finishing 2nd and 3rd in both races. It's all eyes forward to 2024 now, attempting to eliminate our weaknesses!

2024 Season
Having spent so much time, effort and money on the 2023 season, we were hoping to take a step back and continue our momentum into 2024. Boy were we wrong! We learnt that there's no relaxing in this sport, that's for sure. Unfortunately, the rest of our 2024 season was plagued by car problems and just overall speed. Some highlights include heading over to NZ for my first-ever race outside of Excels. Scoring a front-row start along the way. I also competed at new tracks such as The Bend and Winton Motor Raceway. We're looking to regroup in 2025 and branch out to bigger and better things.
The Dream Shifts Closer
I will continue pushing myself day to day to try and take control of my dream and make it a reality. Ideally, we'd like to make the step up to some more advanced categories such as Toyota 86s or Aussie Racing Cars but we will wait till the time is right and the support is there.
